i  done a 1250 rebuild and i have had it dynoed and map fully rebuilt for the bike the bike runs great powers on hard iam a bit concerned about some pinging coming on between 2000 - 3000  when you are trying to roll on from like 70klm  especially in traffic noticed it more the other day while on gasoline alley hd run a lot of 60klm to 80klm riding bloody boring lol

bike is 2010 1250 iron with 1200 stage 1 heads and n4 cams 2-1 exhaust

any thoughts , iam thinking taking a little timing out bike is booked in for dyno friday

Running 98 octane fuel are we ?

If not , give that a try first

If you are already then it's a timing issue right enough and your dyno tuner has been " too aggressive " with his ignition tming settings

I've seen this with some of the Kuryakyn CALS that they have available for free downolad. They run well EXCEPT for high gear roll on bursts

May also be the case if you're trying to roll on from 70 in top gear ?

In that case then dropping a gear is the answer like we all did on the jap bikes back in the day

she would pink if using N4 cams not if the comp ratio was not set proper

 thx daddy all sorted now dyno fred  got it sorted have a look at my recent dyno result also got me an extra 10hp at 5000rpm but still the same max hp
