I am thinking of upgrading the motor in my 2009 RK  from the 96ci to the SE 120r crate motor.

i have worked out what bits I need to make it happen and hope to do most of the spanner work myself.

....but i want to find out what is needed to keep Queensland Transport (and boys in blue) happy.

I know that changing/upgrading the engine in a car can require  engineers certs etc but I don't know if the same would apply to my bike considering rego fees are the same no matter the engine capacity of a motorcycle.

if anyone out there has already done this and can share their experience I would really appreciate it.
