I am in 2 minds on which air shocks to buy.
after reading lots on the net about the shotguns it would seem they are the best available
BUT
i can get a pair of legends for around $400 cheaper. Something tells me to go with the shotguns but my wallet tells me to go with the lelegends my main aim is to be able to easily adjust the ride height when I double my son and to be able to lift the bike up for more ground clearence when playing with my mates in the twisting

Here's a late response.
I put a set of Legends on my 1999 FXDX about 12 months ago.
My passenger (wife) greatly appreciated them.
We got them direct from Legend in USA and fitted 'em up ourselves.
They are great and I highly recommend them.
The compressor mounts discreetly under the front right frame and the hoses run under the frame to emerge under the seat at the T junction.
I just had to use wet 'n dry paper to bring the suspension bolts (supplied) down a mil to fit up.
