    Just be very careful as it can contaminate and dilute the oil if it leakes into the motor.

    that's the stuff hilly seafoam I have heard of. cheers mate

    i had all the dots lined up on the cams and the outer chain has to be right for the sprockets to line up

    didn't it have hard cranking issues before the cam change?

    If the cam timing was out wouldn't that show in the compression test? 1 cylinder much different to the other?

     max, yeah its always been like that

    but for piece of mind i think ill go back into the cam chest and make sure

    ive got the box here with my old cams in it, all the numbers on the box tell me they are 57H Andrews

    what would happen if i went with a -4 degree camshaft sprocket?would that be a good thing for my higher comp

    That could well be the answer. wasn't aware of 76cc heads. Any way to identify them from outside??
    that 76 and a fair build up of carbon say heads and pistons to the value of 4cc gets it at 221ccp on bigboys calculator with the 57's

    You obviously have not had the bike from new?? Any way to contact the previous owner?

    My 57s in my stock 96 go hard right up past 5000rpm. Not up there often, but it it was still pulling last time I looked down at the speedo at about 5500! :)

    mongrel, ive got the guys nu and he dont answer the god damn ph.
    but from the info supplied he is an older rider . cant see why he would be chasing higher comp

    bit of a bloody mystery on our hands here or what?

    anything else you changed at Cam time? and bike is definitely not missing at all etc etc huh?
    WTF mate!? was hoping to hear about the cracking result not all this headaches.

    mongrel, in up here in sth side brisvegas and the weather right now is perfect for a ride [ which is making it worse ]

    JJ, mate yeah Fred, Max and i where hoping for good things ...fred ,the tuner tried everything known to mankind to sort it out.. but hey thats the fun with R & D

    so, now my front head is off,,,how do they measure it.
    theres a bit of carbon on the piston top ,but ill wait till fred looks at that
    he timing marks line up,sent the pics to max
    i,m dropping the head of tommorrow and i,m going to build a few fishing rods to clear my head...as that is what i do ,custom rods
