after heaps of great advise about the grips thought I would see what are the best levers to use. My biggest problem is the brake lever, as I am only a shorty I don't have big hands and struggle to get a decent grip on the brake lever. On the jap bikes I have owned I was able to buy adjustable levers which helped heaps. I have done a search but not able to find an adjustable brake lever, only an adjustable clutch. Kuryakyn Boss blades seem to be about the only option I can find, does anyone know of any other closer reach ones,

    cheers Steve.

I found Kuryakin "Trigger" Levers quite good.

I think they are closer, I definitely thought they were better to use than stock ones.

Try gilliestooling Harley levers. They are an aussie firm in Melbourne that make adjustable brake and clutch levers for Harley.

I tried Gilles Tooling levers on my 2014 Fatboy, but there was no recess for the plastic shim to keep it from flappin' around!. Returned for a refund, thankfully. Have just fitted Roland Sands adjustables from Griffin Spares, look schmick. Went to ride to work this morning only to find that once I was in gear, with the clutch fully in, she was creeping forward and I couldn't put it back in neutral!!!

Obviously need to tweak the clutch cable adjustment. Lesson #9482 - test ride after making adjustments or replacements, before you are suited up for a winter's ride only to find that the bike is unrideable and you sweat half a litre just to get the bike back in the garage and all your gear off again!!

Once I tweak it (and test ride it!), will put up some piccy's and feedback.

+1 for the RSD levers. As you say M'fatboy gotta adjust the cable and levers up properly and away you go. Yeah I reckon' they do look good too.

Yeah they are closer. That's my wife's sporty and they fit much neater than originals. As said earlier, adjust your clutch cable and lever etc so you get a good fit and no creeping forward with the clutch in.

    Yep, they are expensive !!
    Great service though.
I damaged a lever after hitting a kangaroo, and with their levers, you can buy individual parts.
I sent them an email telling them what I needed, and they sent the parts free of charge, Including post.
They now have a lifetime customer !

Update...took 'em for a spin, tweaked the range a bit, as my gloves tended to hit the faceted cutout section.  Very nice though....

The reach is customisable, from way past stock to so close that you can't fit your glove in there! So yes, better reach.
