Hi all, just got home from a fun ride.
Did about eighty kms and stopped for a bit, got back on the bike and it wouldnt select first.
Tried to get neutral and couldnt. Rocked it back and foreward and tried again, nothing!
Managed to get it moving but it was stuck in a high gear and statred to make a noise, so parked it up and called harley assist.
Any thougts? Back to perth harley tomorow.
Still under warrenty, so not really worried but was wondering if there is a inherent fauly with sporty gearbox's or if i'm just lucky?
No problems with harley assist, on my way within an hour with three progress calls from them whilst waiting.
Only hiccup was i was twenty kms short of one hundred kms away from home so they said i had to find my own transport home. Aparrently harley assist only covers you're transport home if you are one hundred kms or over away from home.
After some words they came to the party and the tow truck driver gave me a lift home as im just round the corner from perth harley and they will organise to pick up the bike tomorrow.
