I went through Spencers Brook Rd last Sunday on my way to York around 11.15am the place was closed, not sure what hour they do now ? Was going to stop off for a brew went on to Greenhill's instead.

Keith, We were there around 11.30am Sunday it's open although there is a sign saying closed (go figure!) anyway if you walk around the left hand side of the pub you can get in through the side door.

Just don't take a menu outside otherwise the "happy go lucky" barman will get in a strop lol, they do a good feed though.

Thanks C/H going out that way again on the 14th with a couple of FIFO guys, will check it out again see what the go is, closed sign was up ? Good menu at Greenhill's also worth a look if your out that way again. Cheers.
