I have a spare security fob from my written off 2012 Roadking, so was wondering if this was a saleble item that can be reset for someone else's bike? or do I just dump it?

Did the same with 2011 cvo convertible, and have 1 fob, be interesting if I can use it with my new roadking.

 

I think the dealers can.

Happens if you loose yours and buy another one.
