I have fitted the Harley forward controls to my street bob, all fits great except on the break side the peg sags down on an angle and my foot slides off the peg the shop recommended we put a grub screw in the peg to adjust it back up I have done that and it still isn't working any one had the same problem and found a fix???? I'm thinking there should be a replacement part from Harley the shop has told me this isn't the first time they have seen it Jamo

My chrome forwards are fine, might be the actual peg not the forward control hardware itself

    Hi,

What about with the stock rubber foot pegs?

I bought some of the o-ring chrome hd ones and decided to try on passenger mounts and they wouldn't go all the way in when folded up yet the rubber stock ones were no worries

    Thanks

it appears the mounting hole for the peg is slightly out. I would be asking for a new set

I could fix it in about 5 minutes but you shouldn't have to with new expensive parts. Dob of weld on the peg to build it up on the inside so it sits where it needs to.

so HD head office in Sydney have replied to the dealership saying there aware of the problem there is no fix from them and there not willing to look into one. great to know I'm not the only one this has happened to now to play fix up HD's shoty manufacturing and to start looking elsewhere to mod my bike if this is the support we receive. just to add to this the dealership has been great and in no way is this a reflection on them.
