Can anyone please shed any light on this topic, and whether they've done this before.
I seem to be having some problems, Im only a recent owner of a 2012 vrod muscle and I connected the tuner to the bike, then tuner to the PC.
Upon the first connection it went through an update of the VCI, and when that completed it looked as though that was it, but was it?
I wanted to look more into it, since I couldn't imagine how that could have been it.. How did it determine what mods I had and updated the VCI tuner by simply flipping the ignition on?
I went into the tune part of the software and there were no config files available, not even after I inputed the required fields it asked for.
Then when I went into the Reprogramme / Reflash it wouldn't let me, the button on the screen was "greyed" out, and not accessible.
Just thoughtid try ask around before contacting a local HD dealer, with what may be a silly resolution, any assistance with this would be great.

Thanks I think you're right. I bought it off eBay USA and the bloke said it would work... I really should have looked into it more.
I have the cable for a VRSC which I bought from a bike store, so I imagine the SE super tuner would need a custom tune?
I changed over from the SERT to the TAB Auto tuner, best money I have spent so far.
Ok so I purchased a screaming eagle street tuner after being told by the seller on eBay from the US, that it'd work with a vrod.
Fact is that it won't, since there are no VRSC config files to upload. Only the super tuner, which can be dyno tuned, will work. The seller has refunded and I bought a fuelpak to suffice my power bug for now.
Cheers for all assistance
