"Pearly king" Jeezaloo that takes me back! Never really understood what that was all about but we had one that used to come on Beanos (coach trip to seaside) when I was sprog aged about 5 or so, around 60yrs ago

I was saving to get married when you left for Australia mate, I would have been a lot better off stowing away on your boat to Oz, and I was dumb enough to get married twice more over the years, until I saw the light and just stuck to bikes lol. I did get a decent son out of the last drama who's turned out smarter than I was at his age

As I am a pom I better mention the weather, it's too bloody humid, 30c which would be alright if it was dry, I already look well cooked after couple of days in the sun

Is it winter over there? I expect your winter is better than our average summer

    Cheers Baz

     Thank Allde

Like the pics Flhutch,  it must be great having all that space with so few people compared to this little island! Dont get me wrong I love my country but we could do with more space or less people, it's not too bad where I am as its very rural (for UK) I have to watch out for tractors or combines  round the bends of narrow lanes!

It's a bit of a heatwave here, nothing compared to your scorchers but 30+c at moment in this part of the southeast, too hot even for open face helmets if you get caught in traffic

Well known Ace cafe in London has a good Harley night once a month and I hope to go there soon to have a look, hopefully temp and humidity will have reduced a bit by then, got a little

aircon unit for my workshop coming today so no excuses lol

    Cheers Baz

Ahh the Ashes, looks good for us at moment but not much confidence to be honest, we seem to be on an unusual high after the tennis but consistent we ain't, I wouldn't worry too much mate ;-)

Thats one of the best intro's of seen, "and for a Pommy" . Sorry to the last post, but the bastards are beating us in the Ashes.  the way the intro is  going  there could be a hat passed around , and all members put in a dollar to get him the fare to come out here !!!

Reminds me of a joke in the " Barry McKenzie " movie,    Some upper class pom asked Barry if it was true that all Australians are homosexuals,  Bazza nearly shits himself, cracks open a can of fosters, and replies,   no mate, its only a rumour put around by the Australian goverment , to get you bastards over here !!!!

    Welcome Mate !!!!

G'day and welcome Big Bazza .
A whole 'week , ya say it as if its a miracle , its getting warmer here too , our winter was almost non existent so far this year , still can't understand why the poms didn't move out here to the best plot of land on the globe and leave all the convicts too it over there , talk about the luck of the Irish hey ?
Never mind , ya should get down here for a ride holiday , cheap , enjoyable way to get around , can get a bit cooked in summer though plenty of beer to keep one hydrated !
Just kiddin , great place , still mostly good people , heaps to see !
Bikes seem just as , if not more expensive there hey , do they request that ya wear fluro yet or hound ya over loud pipes , what are the restrictions , speed limits and fines worth over there ?
No fluro here as yet but it has been mentioned , fines are becoming ridiculous ?
    Cheers
