G'Day boys. Looking for some advice on best brand of quick change pushrods for EVO engine (97). Local suppliers?
Cheers
some people change there cam as many time's as there underpants if done proper the 1st time you won't have too go back in there for another 80,000 to120,000 klm's
these are heavy units than stock , i try to set up the cam on stock pushrods as these are chromemoly stock & the same wall thickness as 200 dollar adjustables but lighter , anyway don't forget about the inner cam bearing
i'am doing a 1998 model Fatboy @tm thats being left a little bit too long, she left from a Sydney dealer after a general service with a whine from the cam chest & they did not say anything to the fellow that the inner cam bearing was failing i think they were waiting for it to turn too shit before making a move, as i pulled the cam & thrust washer out the bearing was falling apart in my hand , bad to see it go this far with the cam chest noise but it's not the 1st one either
