Just a heads up to those who own a 1HD bike, I was talking to Faisers today about an unrelated issue and found out that they have as a company changed their policy and will now service and repair grey imports, I know Greg has written about this a few times but buggerd if I have the time to find it lol

That's what I hear as well around the traps

Spoke to a guy last weekend who had imported a bone stock Crossbones ( 2008 I think )

Perth HD had sold him an air cleaner kit , V&H big radius in black , and an SESPT tuner

LOADSA dollars , obviously they could not resist any more.

Plus the market is FLOODED with the fucking things ( grey imports that is !)

Eventually they must have realised that Sour-percycles and Thunder-tacky were rolling in work and charging a MOTZA

Although to repeat again over a year ago they said , as a 3 part group , Frasers / Perth HD / Southwest in Bunbury ,

WE WILL NOT SELL TRADE OR PROVIDE ANY SERVICE ON 1HD (GREY IMPORTED) HARLEYS

Well times they are a changin'...and before the flamers start bustin' a gut I HAVE A " GREY IMPORT " MYSELF

    so F YA haha....

That was a long story Retro...... just to suggest policies have changed.
Stay focussed on all the POSITIVES, buddy. Riding any HD is about living more than those who don't. And THAT'S IT.

It cause they can't...n they new they couldn't say no but they was just trying it on because they was tosses n the economy was going so well they could sell the bikes for more if the waved a big stick.
Not understanding that we all no they can't spanner for shit anyway so it won't make no difference to the amount they make from servicing.

Lol, the sales team at least try but you really need to know what you are after. For example I wanted a transmission oil O ring as i was doing an oil change they told me that there isn't one on a 88b hahaha. I got them to pull it up on the screen and then showed them what I needed, kind off finished me with them if they couldn't get something so simple right.

    " Rob's gone baby , Rob's gone "

As in " Zed's dead baby Zed's dead " from Pulp Fiction (1994)

Funnily enough , the "new" Head Honcho IS from Kitchen Warehouse or Mitre 10 or some place !!

Gone to work for Harley Heaven in the east if I'm hearing correctly. Within the last 4 weeks or so.

You would think the " new guy " would at the very least be a " Harley enthusiast " of long standing.

Of course this is all hearsay , and may be utter fucking shite , but I believe it's so.

Sheeesh I'm really must be a hardcore rider! I just didn't realise it until putting it in writing, maybe I need to break the ride down over 2 days and take a swag with me. ;)
