I was in my local Perth Harley dealer yesterday & was told that next years Harleys were going to be watercooled, Starting with tourers, having radiators attached to  the crash bars WTF! has anyone heard this. 

havent they been saying this for years... i cant see it happening!?!?!?

 Every year for the last five years this rumour has surfaced. Do a google search on it.

If it means a more efficient, cooler running 100hp bike, bring it on! I rode a water cooled Triumph Thunderbird Storm yesterday, and it was freakin brilliant. Goes well straight out of the box, handles like a dream, looks cool, all for less than $20K. HD have some work to do I think.

meaning of V Rod a motorcycle that should have a Porche badge not harley 

 yeah I know this has been around for a number of years but ol mate Tony from Perth Harley seems to believe it will be next year . Time will tell I guess but I think a radiator on a softail or Dyna ,well I can`t image it looking good, anyway I got my new Roady & I dont see myself getting anything new for a number of years..

Wouldn't mind if they had the V-Rod engine in all of the Harley range, much better than the ol dunger motor in the big Twins

I think Lizard is right , dont quote me but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere when the 96ci donk came out that porche had co designed part of it or had something to do with that as well , not 100% on it but also read some where that apparently the current heads are part galleried in anticipation of the move to oil or later water cooling ?
I don't think it's like the MoCo have a choice or anything , just modern world emission regulations biting ?
May have read it somewhere in Heavy Duty mag ?

I don't think we have to worry about water cooling on dynas or softails any time soon, the patent application shows side radiators mounted in fairing lowers as per the touring models.
