Come and be part of Australia's biggest motorcycle only drag race meeting. Saturday 17 th August 2013 at Benaraby raceway near Gladstone. Last year there was over 320 competitors. From choke  chasers to Australia's fastest top fuel Bike. Lots of brackets to race in , street, twins , modified, pro street , nostalgic plus more. Even if you don't race come and camp out and have a great day followed by a great party. 

Im not running this its just note worthy of a excellent meeting. Great ride up camp then ride home. 

 

Yep will be there went for the first time last year and had a great time but a word of warning for those going it was hot during the day but really cooled down very quickly at night so take some warm clothes with you cheers.

it was a great meet, but bloody cold

It doesn't feel so cold by about 1am after a few winter warmers while standing around one of the many camp fires. It's a good day to run your bike down the track against others out to have a good day. Otherwise just watch.

It's getting close. Gonna be huge.

Yep got a few things happening over the next week this coming Saturday a Bike and Car show to go at Maryborough, Tuesday my youngest daughter's wedding and then Benaraby the following Saturday, yep big week coming up for me cheers.

 Congrats and good luck on your daughters wedding. Dads got a few busy days in front of him. I'll be in the Bundy highway motorcycles tent if you want to catch up for a beer on race day.  

Well another top day at Benaraby all bike drags it was shame that the top fuel Harley come not get a full pass down the track felt sorry for the team it must of been a big disappointment for them and talking of Harleys they had a big turnout there just to give you an idea I never seen a CVO Breakout in the flesh before and then here is three of them running down the strip.

Highlight for the night for me was a guy on a V-Rod did a massive burnout through the staging lane he kept it on all the way down the track even getting the bike sideways while powering it on, he had the crowd standing and cheering man he could ride, the weather was perfect but it did get cold during the night, so two years running for me at these drags and many more to come I hope will be there again next year that is for sure cheers.

Fuckin rub it in!! I had to stay home coz the outlaw was here.Had it planned (sort of) missed last yr to. Nxt yr as a lot of us say. Sounds like it was a top meet .Hope you all had a bonza time,and I maybe meet up with a few forumites in the flesh nxt time around.  Australia's Longest Poker Run is only 2 wks away so I'll make up for it with a weeks riding,yippeeee..

 

Well I had a mega great day and night. I road my dyna to a 11.52@ 112 and the Gsxr 1000 to 10.65@ 139 mph. I didn't win nothing but who cares. I had a great time and got pretty drunk. I did a 4 th gear burnout on my last pass with the harley past the starters box with my mate Glen in the other lane doing the same thing. Then he broke his drive belt. Then the turbo Vrod came after me. Sorry I missed you guys. I'll be back next year.
