Harley  imported a few of these for testing by various police services in Australia.  As far as I know, they didn't go into service beyond testing. I saw four of them in Canberra three or four years ago and they were being tested by AFP for several months.  What'ya reckon.   For me, if I was going to be pulled up, I would rather it be by a copper on a Harley....at least we can talk bikes.  These were parked outside of Robbo's in Fyshwick.

    Cheers

I saw one on the Hume Hwy and stopped to have a chat with the patrolman. I don't believe the NSW Police went ahead with the trial as all bikes seem to BMW's. Infact, very few Police Forces have stuck with Harleys as the BMW's seem to be a favourite worldwide.

Quite a few Yamaha FJR1300s as well with blue lights. NSW and AFP still have the Yams.  Both used to have the BMWs but had quite a few problems with them so changed.  Both lack the soul of what the HDs would have bought.

It might also be the "hee haw hee haw" sounds you were making Steve.

    Nice looking bike too.
