Greetings all. I went for a club run up to Rockhampton on the long weekend. We went via the Goat Track aka Bruce Highway and went through masses of roadworks but only one of these had a Water truck run through just before we got there. I now have baked on wet road dirt on the front on my Fat Bob motor. What i am wondering is, has anyone used a steam Cleaner to remove this crap? I was old by the workshop to try either S100 Total Cycle Clean and or Dobatex Gold made by Shell. Having read some reviews on these products makes me look for another method. An

Removal of dirt stain off wrinkle black
Get the worst of with water.
Spray stains with CRC or similar
Wipe with a rag, thats it stain is gone
If you are worried about the CRC residue, wash with soapy(morning fresh etc) water
I leave the CRC on, easier to clean next time.
    Cheers

Use a high pressure water cleaner. Apply truck wash soap suds and rub on. Then use high pressure water cleaner again. If the truck wash doesn't work first time, try spraying on bug and tar remover in between high pressure water cleaning but careful not to leave on for longer than a few minutes.

the best thing i have found and use weekly on my bike is CT-18. Put it into a spray bottle, 25 ct18 75 water or there abouts, spray all over motor, frame, wheels, brakes etc. and use a soft dust pan brush to "scrub" a little, then use the pressure washer to clean off! brings any bike up like new, and hasnt hurt an so far.

My bike was a mess this week and I really wanted to make a "how I wash my bike" vid but just didn't get time . Maybe next time!

Yeah Jimmy I don't fuck around, hence all the black, I like to ride my bike not spend the day polishing chrome. A quick tub and scrub , rinse and blow dry with the air blower! Done in 15mins

Hey terroristone, I was thinking of getting one of those jacks for servicing.
Are they useful for that as well or do they get in the way when dropping oil and stuff?
    Cheers mate
