Caught up with a mate who lost his 18 month old son a week or so back for a beer after work tonight. He's struggling but hopefully will be oK.

Perfect night for a ride on the way home.

Certainly helps to put things into perspective and make you appreciate the little things . . . . . . .

hard time for you mate Filthy, I have had the same boat to paddle, I could not dislike someone that bad to wish it on them,

there is nothing you can say and no way to say it.

I does not get easier, only time between crying increases. I am a nobody to your friend, but please wish him and his partner all the best from us.

Thanks soapbox - I will pass on your thoughts. In these circumstances I don't think anyone prepared to extend the hand of friendship is a "nobody" . . .

Sounds like you know what you are talking about - sorry for your loss . . .

It's not an easy ride, that's for sure.
I was crying in my dreams the other night.
    It doesn't get easier.
Wish him well from me too mate.
He's got 2 brothers here thinking of him.
