just posted a few in general pics area but thought the sorty section might be more appropriate

this old girl has been keeping me busy for about 6 months. still more work to do but its getting close now.

since these pics were taken a new heavier cluthc has gone in and a 41mm cv carb jetted at 180 and 45

rear shocks are a much better triumph pair with progressive loading.

    stand still needs work.

handlebars unfortunately arent right  for my arms so sometime some shorter ones will have to fo on.

but its close to being pleasant to ride

    Nice.
From the tank back it looks like a 73/74 HLCH?
40th birthday partys are always messy....

I'm having the same dilema as to where to post Ironhead stuff. I'm calling mine a Classic Harley.

Cool, I like it! I have an old '92 Sporty that I'd like to get looking more like that.

What's the story with the frame?

frame is pretty much stock. its a matching numbers set up. the offset is in the tripple clamps to give it the rake. its all harley or aftermarket made to fit harley stuff except the rear susspension which is Triumph.

Rake looks impressive from the angles the shots are taken. I've considered raked triples along with offset cups in the steering head to try to keep trail to a reasonable figure.

What's the rake on the triples you used, and how does she handle?

rake trippetree's  are not good for handling even if you think they look cool
