Hi Barnzy, thanks for the pics. They look bloody awesome, way better than original, and certainly saves money on buying chrome bits to cover them. Were they done on the bike or were they removed from the triple trees first? Great job, Thanks for sharing.
I did the same when I had my streetbob the end result is brilliant ,well worth the time & kinda relaxing when slurping back several cold "Millers Draft ". but now ya gotta keep up the polishing every couple weeks. easier than handing over big dollars for chrome ones good job
Looks great. I put clear contact paper on my new street glide and they have pitted underneath that so this may well be the next project. Good photos
Looks great and its easy to achieve with a bit of elbow grease :-)
Polished alloy looks so much better than chrome if you ask me, but that is just my opinion.
Thanks for putting this thread up Barnzy I'm about to follow your lead and do the forks it has been bugging me for a while on how to remove them thanks for the cure, with me I think it might be a 750ml of turkey job, thanks again.
I know a Pro but she wont polish your covers for you.........
LOL, what a cracker Pauly. Hey thanks Barnzy, I got same dish washing detergent, might upset the cook if use it though, so will use some of my car wash liquid, and another great reason to get rid of those ugly reflectors.
Hahaha we are gunna be the shiniest forkin bastards ridin around!!
