I'm another with a dodgy back and when I had my Sporty I changed to the Mustang Vintage Solo seat and never looked back. Very comfortable and I was doing 600km+ days with no problem whatsoever. I then traded up to a new Fat Bob and was thinking that I would get another Mustang but the stock seat is fucking awesome! I recently did 2400 odd km from Perth to Newman over 4 days and never felt a thing. Brilliant seat and will have saved myself $300...

Had a Mustang solo with removable riders backrest and loved it. Only thing I noticed was when taking off quick (with no backrest on) I felt like I was going to slide right off the bike. Done some decent trips with the Mustang and didn't really have any comfort issues.

Ive got a lepara barebones. Good looking seat but shit ride.

Ive got a 2 up seat the same as yours that I ride with sometimes.

Between that seat, the lepara and the stock street bob seat, yours is most comfy by a mile

I`m another one in favour of the Mustang ... carn`t speak highly enough about them ... recently did a short to mid size ride , near on 800 k`s over 2 days and felt great compared to the Badlands , I think that was the name of it ... they have a firm feel at first but it is when you reach your destination when the benefits are to be had ... I didn`t have any aces or pains ... but of course everyone is different .

Wot style Mustang? My stock 08 streetbob seat is starting to get a bit tired and I'm getting a bruised arse bone now. Found the stock seat to be really good up until recently. Guess the foam is starting to crap out.
Been looking at the Tripper solo in distressed brown or the Vintage solo, but am concerned the vintage might be/look a bit big and bulky and the Tripper not comfy enough. Or just go with another stocker.
Dont wanna get approval from the minister of finance and then end up with something that hangs on the shed wall!

I got my mustang wide tripper with diamond stitching in on Thursday

It sits you lower than the stock street bob seat (I never ran the stock seat always a sidekick two up)

I'm really happy with it after about 300km so far.

Gidday PeteBob ... I`m pretty sure it`s called a sport solo ... I also got the matching pillion for the better half and she says its as good as any of the Jap bike seats we have had in the past , especially with the mid sized back rest , was going to go with the real short one but the mid size works great as I also got a sport carry rack and with the carry bag I have it slips over the back rest and sits on the rack and the missus sits against it and says she dosent even feel it .

Of course mine is a Softail but Mustang have a great range of seats to choose from ... I will have to get a couple of more recent pics with the pillion seat and carry rack on so you can judge for yourself .

Had a lepera barebones, just changed to a danny grey buttcrack solo. Much more comfortable and I no longer slip off the back at high speeds.

I've had alot of back problems

    Tried a mustang and a C&C seat

by far the best comfort and style/qaulity is LE PERA.

    IMHO.
