    Hi all,

Have decided to go with the big shot 2 into 2 stagged pipes for my 2013 softail standard.

Have done some reading here, but  with no luck. Need an a/cleaner that would match the pipes.

Being looking at screamin eagle heavy breather. Do you think this is a good option or is there something better. thanks Joe.

Thanks all. I thought some air cleaner are better than others in delivering air flow?

Any freeflow air filter setup will " work " with the pipes, so go for what you like the look of as already mentioned.

You WILL need some kind of tuner system thereafter

I can point out to you personally ( I have them on my 110 cube CVO Springer ! ) that they are LOUD AS !

Personally I think they're too loud , embarrassing on an inner city start-up

They do "work" for performance , (some V&H setups you will lose power and torque !)

Also how is the PC Plod activity in your neck of the woods ?

My bike also has the Screamin' Eagle heavy breather , stock OEM fitment on the US domestic market CVO Springer.

    Thanks Retroman,

Have been youtubing the pipes for sound, but it was today that the local HD dealer had a 96c fatboy with them on. Had a listen and ride, they are loud, I didn't think they were that loud when i started my research. I do like the look and feel they will give me some proformance. As for the PC Plod ( which i had to google..lol) they seem to be OK, but if you are stupid and crazy with your bike...will you ask for it.

got the big shots on my 2012 Fatboy, fitted them with the V&H quiet baffles and were still too loud so added the Hard Kore baffles in the tips of the pipes as well (had them left over from the big radius pipes)l, now sounds really nice and not too loud.
