Softail with 96B stage 1 upgrade with SE slip ons(2010 with the cats). I just installed Freedom Declaration Turnout pipes and I'm getting a slight bit of decel pop...I started fucking around with the old mods,,lollipop washer and a 2inch to 1 3/4 reducer at the outlet. i got rid of the decel and droped the tone at idle only.
I tried there quiet baffles and got the bottom end power back,,,and the heat! they fluffed and chooffed at idle a bit(did'nt like that) so I drilled a half inch hole up there arse,,there ok but don't sound as nice as the cheese grater baffles that come with the pipes,,,
so I'd like some honest opinions.
do you think I'm fucking around to much with just a stage 1 and no tuner,,,? most say I don't need a tuner. as i'm not chaseing big hp or dyno #.?
and also how long do these O2 sencors need to work out what they tell the ECM...a fucking week or a coupla minutes??? any sencor in machinery or truck engines soon let you no wtf is going on??? I don't quiet understand how some people say oh give the sencors time to adjust??
