Hello all, thought l would let others know the pro's and cons of these excellent pipes . When l bought these pipes l bought them on the strengh of the blurb and what l new about exhaust systems. Aesthetically speaking they are not really visually appealing with the staggered step ups in pipe diameter. but alot of that could be overcome with the fitment of the heat sheilds. l do not have these fitted as yet as they were not available when l bought the pipe. The pipes do come in chrome but l got mine in ceramic coated black, and if there was anything that l would bitch about is there coating procedure. My pipe showed sighns of rust and discolouring after l left some road grime on the pipe after going through some mild roadworks. l emailed V&H and they basically said there ceramic coating was ok and stiff bickys. lf you buy the heat sheilds which really are a good idea as these twin cams generate some serious heat this discolouring may not be an issue. As l said before these pipes are staggered in diametre and they go from 1"3/4 to 2"1/2 to a 3"1/2 collector and open up to a 4" 1/2 inch straight out with a perforated baffle. They give off a glorious deep rumble not unlike your favorite V8, but the true secret to them is the amount of torque that these pipes generate. My bike has been dyno'd 3 times now, and all the tuners liked the pipe for the grunt they delivered. lf you look at the V&H site you will see that they come to suit Baggers which is mine, or the shorter version to suit soft tails and alike. l purcased mine through Cassons but l'm sure you could easily buy these over the net from the states.

I have a set of V&H Tracker 2into1 pipes on my Fatboy lo, the ceramic coating on these pipes is crap, the first set had rust marks 1 month after fitting them and they hadnt been in the rain and no water had even touch them. Casson's replaced the pipe for me, now the second set is doing the same thing, not sure what type of ceramic coating they are using but it sure isn't good quality.

Very happy with the performance, sound & the look of the pipe, may have to get another set but im not sure what to do, thinking I may take the pipe off and try a local ceramic coating place but im not sure if they can strip the original coating off then apply a new ceramic coating which actually will last.

Sound of 2 into 1 is such a great, there isn't another pipe I really like out there made by another manafacturer.

As Rocky said it is very ordinary the coatings on these pipes but as he said on the go side there great, on the cost side of things l think there around $700 in the states plus exchange rate and freight , not sure what the local dealer may charge, proberly around $12-13 hundred check your dealer

had the Pro Pipe on for around 3 years... has a nice sound to it but overall felt that the pipe was just too big. Replaced early this year after laying the bike on the RH side. The finish is absolutely crap... worst V&H finish I've ever seen.

Cannot comment on performance as I never placed the bike on dyno propely after I had TTS tune by Scotty

The Pro Pipe ,if you read the blurb does say is suited to big inch motors or ones that have been played with, so for stock 96 or possibly 103 the pipe may not shine and be over piped , in my case my engine produces 103 HP and 122 TRQ , so as Mr Ho stated it is something to consider. Once again like anything you do before you throw down your bananas , do your research
