Where's The Softail Standard

I've been away travelling around Aus and I'm getting closer to my dream of riding a HD.

I had my heart set on the Softail Standard with Vance & Hines Big Radius and Mag Wheels but when I go to the Harley site it's not there. Bugger! Bugger! Bugger!

To me, along with the Wide Glide, it was the best looking bike in the range.

    Has it been dropped completely?

Still available and now comes with the black and chrome engine (like the custom) rather than the previous plain engine/trans and cases.

Thank heavens and thanks guys. I'm still away and the HD site I looked at on my iPad didn't include the Standard?

I reckon the Softail Standard is the bees Knees and with a few mods looks great. I also like the fact the lean angle is greater than most.

I like the look of the chrome casings, way better than the bare Aluminium finish on mine and others preceeding std Softails. I had thought about one day having my whole bottom half of the engine painted to match the tins of my bike. I wonder how that would look?

I've been told the Softail Standad will be no longer available in the 2014 range

As far as I know the Softail Standard is made for the Australian Market only. Great bike.
