Mate over the road had a sticky left indicator, pulled it apart and is having trouble getting it back together. He has 2 springs and a ball bearing, I reckon the ball bearing sits on top of 1 spring and under the little copper striker plate, but where does the other spring go, anyone know?? Pretty sure they are turn em on turn em off style.
Gday mr Burns. I think 1 spring goes under the end of the button to return it to its normal position after being pressed. i think it is a coil type spring with a tail at each end like a clothesline peg spring and the other one with the ball is for for pressing the strike plate. i havent had one apart for 6 years and cant really remember. Does CRAFT mean anything? hope this helps. PS your box needs a lick...............................of paint. lol
Yeah I should have taken a pic of it. It has the clothes peg spring as you describe, it has another spring that assists the movement of the plastic striker that sits on a small plastic dowel, 1 spring should go under the ball bearing, but there is another spring leftover. I was thinking maybe someone has lost a spring and it has been sitting in there all the time, but Scrubby ( the owner) bought this bike new and from what I understand he is the only one to have worked on it.
He was telling me that years ago the bank said that in order to keep his house he would have to sell his bike....he still has his bike.
You are one extremely intelligent man.........thats what I said to do to hahahaha, and yes the bloody box will be painted.......just stop nagging me every 6 months!
