Hi folks,
I'm just about to remove my standard road king handle bars and replace them with Stock Harley heritage bars but l have 2 questions.
When l took off the removable plastic ring that surounds the steering lock l noticed that there are 2 security screw holding down the chrome cover that covers the handle bar clamps.
What is the best way to remove these screws so l can remove this chrome cover.
The other question do you need to do any mods to the stock heritage bars to fit the throttle by wire.
I have heard that you need to groove out the end of the handle bar to suit the Throttle by wire .
Also do you need to shorten the handle bar end of the throttle by wire end as the throttle by wire sticks out a bit from the end of the handle bar .
Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks for that slup .cheers boppa
or maybe this....................................Pictorial: installing Heritage -style handlebars on a 2011 Road King ... drill a hole in middle of the security screw & remove with "easy out" or tap in a torx or allen head socket & undo (not very tight), u will need to grind a notch into end of bars
Thanks for that info Puz, that is great instructions .It does'nt get much better than that.
