    Hi guys,

Deni Dave here, the organiser of the event.

There is camping on site for swags etc,  there will be toilet facilities & also bacon & egg sngas etc  available for hangovers on sun morn.

The shovel muster is a one day event on sat the 8th, gates open at 8 am for any earlybird swap meet type people which it seems is a few,

The first band hits the stage at about 11am, top local duo from the band mannik, they play all sorts of stuff from country to full on heavy metal, their gig will be an acoustic set.

Next act will be a very talented up & coming blues player Sean McConnell, he does a lot of neat stuff with various guitars, mouth harp & stomp box.

Third on the bill is the famous "stringybark McDowell"  if you haven't seen this man play please look him up on youtube as he is a legend in the blues scene in Australia for 3 years...

The headline act is the duo of "lloyd Spiegel & Tim Burnham"  these guys are the top of the ladder in blues acts Australia wide,   take a look at this for a sample then google them for a lesson on top quality blues talent in Australia. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCvK1gwK3Vo

music is planned to be finished about 9 pm but ya never know it may go a bit later.

Bikes that want to be entered into the show need to be onsite by 3pm but the earlier the better, especially for peoples choice as the more that see it the better cance you have.

Trophies will be awarded around 5pm, it is planned to be a relaxing day with likeminded shovel/ironhead owners fans of these bikes to kick back and chinwag etc.

there will be an outdoor bar operating near the stage ares, a bbq stand will be selling burgers & snags, also sunday brekky for campers.

There will be a few raffles throughout the day, T shirts will also be for sale on the day & if they sell out we will also be taking orders for them.

as stated 1%er patch clubs are to make contact before the event if they are attending, I myself am a member of the outlaws mc so if anyone is offended by that they are welcome to stay away ;-)   In saying that we have never had any trouble at a show yet & do not plan on any either.

I have had a huge response to this with people coming from all over Australia to be part of this first show, there will also be photographers there from 3 different magazines to cover the event.

I decided to put this show on as I am a long time shovel rider & get sick of seeing fancy painted easter egg looking twin cams full of bolt on aftermarket bling bullshit being trailered to bike shows or ridden around the corner to appear as if ridden, to me they are all the same and I want nothing to do with them. I also know that there are a lot of shovel riders that think the same way but there is nowhere that real ridden bikes with lots of klms on them get a chance to go on display to say a big fuck you to the modern show scenesters. So lets see what happens with this first event so that I can start planning the second event for next year as I hope that this can grow to be the countrys premier shovel event.

Pretty pine is located 17 klms north west of Deniliquin on the hay rd (cobb hwy)      also our phone area code is still 03 so we qualify for vic events....wink wink.

If camping is not your thing there are graet deals being done by a motel in Deniliquin called "the riviana" just tell them you are here for the shovel muster and they'll look after you.

nah just a recovery day & allows people to do as they wish. I'll probabaly be sitting around chinwagging most of sunday. Camping is available in two places, one is about 20 meters from pub door on a nice grassed area that I've seen hold about 40 bike & swags. The other is about 100meters from there where the swap area is which also faces the full size outdoor stage & outdoor bar area. There should be a bit of firewood for use in that area as well for a campfire if wanted.

Also just so it's clear we welcome any bike no matter what breed or style to come along, but only shovels & ironheads will be in the "show area" plenty of parking area for all the other bikes.

sounds good guys, I was just talking to one guy that is having a swap stand. He has a lot of early S&S aircleaners that are the original "S&S cycle" instead of super, also has a lot of manifolds incl genuine branch twin throats, s&s twin throats & various others, sputhe cam cover, tin primary & quite a few other shovel goodies.... sounds good. Look fwd to seeing everyone here
