My old man had this rigid custom built by reputible bike shop a few years ago.
Originally it had a springer front end and suicide shift but with less than a 1000km on it the front end colapsed and the wheel fell out due to nothing being lock tighted is what the insurance company came up with.
Dad bought the bike back from the insurance company and rebuilt it whilst he was off work with a broken shoulder and ribs and some more from the accident. Happened at about 90km/h near Tamworth.
Bike was in Ozbike a few years back and has since been rebuilt again with new paint various blacked out bits.
Exhaust was hand built by a friend with a welding shop, has 180rear, open primary, exile foot controls and joker machine hand controls.
Bike pulls really hard and is awesome fun, unfortunately dad cant ride it much due to injuries from the crash but on a ligter side I can ride it whenever i want!
Real tidy lookin blke...love the bobber rigid.Your ol man done a great job,for me personally I love the look.Plenty of eye candy.....well done.
Yeah its a great little bike, very nimble an very fun to ride!
It was built with the idea of being bike to ride, its not a show bike but when nice and clean its a beautiful bike that goes very hard.
Not sure of the brand of the original springer front end but it was cheap shit as with alot of the original stuff put on the bike.
Has all since been replaced with quality parts or hand made parts and its very reliable bike, my maniac little brother rode it to Melbourne and back from Sydney for the GP!
it will stay in the family for a long time yet, theres no way id let dad sell it!!!
Pretty sure its insured for 30K.
Went for a sweet little ride through The Royal National Park the other weekend and got snapped by a photographer.
Cool pic of the rigid I found on my work computer
