Tyre issue

    Hi, I want to change my dunlop tyres on my 08 Heritage to whitewalls soon. However I need to replace my rear tyre, (size 150/80/B16}, right now. My front tyre has got plenty of tread left at this time.

    I have an almost new Metzler ME88 Marathon tyre in my shed, (size MU90HB16), that I would like to put on until I need to replace both tyres.

    My concern is this, will the Metzler fit my rim with NO issues or will I have to modify things, AND, how can I tell if the Metzler is a front tyre or a rear. I have had it for a while & am pretty sure it is a rear tyre that came off my old electra glide.

    All your adice would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the info Hilly. Yes, you are right, there is a directional arrow on the Metzler. Putting this tyre on will save a few $$$'s until I buy 2xwhitewalls to fit. Many thanks,
