Dont know if this belongs in EFI section, but I changed my bars for wider ones and realised I needed longer cables . Anyway, I've decided to put the longers bars on hold for a bit and put the old ones back on. Everything went fine except now the engine light stays on. I thought I might have pinched a wire somewhere, so checked all and found no probs, but engine light stays on. Everything works fine.

I was talking to a guy at a harley wreckers yesterday about it and he said mostly this light comes on when you fuck around with wires and all I have to do is put in some sort of number sequence through the left buttons to turn the light off.

Is this right? and does anyone know this sequence.

Do a bit of research on the net , look for harley fault codes,then look at your owners manual and l beleive you will be able to push trip button to access the fault number . Once you've got that look up that number on the fault list and then you will know what the problem is and hopefully be able to rectify
