A topic done to death I'm sure but I would like to hear from anyone who has bought a HD from (what seems to be) the main grey import sellers up in QLD. You have prob. seen their bikes on both bikepoint and fleabay.
Why buy from them? My idea is they have a good variety and the bikes are on Oz. ready to go, tyres oils so on and I don't have to search US shops for a bike. Frieght is about $450, Vic roads will steal about $1500 and the bike still comes in around 2K. less than the local dealer (who is selling greys as well but at a pretty high price).
Not sure if I would need a Vic. Road Worthy Cert. as well before seeing Vic. R.
So, if you've got a HD from up north let me know how you went.
