The Old Oil Story

    The more one reads up on oils and their ratings the more confusing it becomes.
    Mineral versus synthetics and the list goes on.

    Now that aside, does anyone know where one can get Spectro oil in Perth WA.
    I am looking for Spectro  Platinum Transmission Gear lubricant in particular.

    Rollies in Brisbane is the Australia contact.
    However when I went there they didn't have much of a range.
    I ended up getting what I wanted from an ebay seller out of Kingaroy

    Sounds like a knowledgeable bloke that wrote that, I have no reason to doubt the article.

    What does worry me is that it's an unsigned piece, with no acknowledgements, references etc. Who knows who actually wrote it, or what his motives were....

    Thanks for the info, I will give ebay a try.

    I used this stuff before in my transmission & my gear change was as smooth as silk.

    Hope the oil blurb was useful.
