Today at my work a truck driver was unloading a load , and he heard a Harley ride off in the distance and then said "another motorbike rider riding off to his doom, fucking stupid pricks, I hate then, I try and cut them off any chance I get". Made me so angry, I almost punched him out, but I was at work and he wore glasses, I just ignored him and kept walking. He didn't know I ride. I'm still furious over it, no wonder there are so many accidents with trucks hitting bikes. 

 my daughter works @ a main harley dealer,   yesterday she was driving too work @ 7.15 am  a bike came around her  inbetween her & a double axle 20 t + tipper with a dog tralier on the back  on canterbury road  while going around a main intersection inbetween both ,  he didn't get way too-far  @ the intersection of king georges rd & punchbowl rd somehow a doudle axle tipper with a dog trailer on the back got him  & draged him for quite a bit under the truck,  i do not know if it was the same truck driver or not but it was the same rider my daughter said he was cutting thru the traffic , they had the hole hwy  blocked off ,   i'am very sorry too hear this & my daughter was & still is very shaken, i hope it was not the same  truck driver

Had a CFA fucker say to me one day back when living in QLD 'so I'll be scraping you off he road on the weekend...' after i said I rode motorbikes through the area he covered with the CFA. Wasn't tongue in cheek either. Just shook me head and walked away.

I hate cunts like that. While everyone is entitled to an opinion but it's just that - an opinion, and you should respect the opinions of others albeit right or wrong and not treat your word as the one and only. Besides, it would be a boring world if we all thought the same way.

yeah I drive a little oil tanker and ride a bike, there are some truckies out there who don't give a shit, but there are also some riders out there that do stupid shit in front of trucks and cars. The bloke in question is just a moron trying to make himself feel smart or tough, ignoring these wankers is the best thing as it takes away any power they get from it.

So rather than front him you thought you would gossip about him, seems the manly thing to do! Good job.

Traffic is traffic and will always be traffic, and we should ride/drive accordingly. There are shit drivers everywhere but let's not forget the normally good driver who makes the occasional mistake. Humans are fallible and, keeping that in mind, dealing with a dickhead driver is no different to handling any other road hazard. Just as we would alter our thinking when it starts to rain, we approach a stop sign, or we move off the highway onto a suburban road, or drive through roadworks etc.

Like everyone, I have my pet peeves but just because someone has an altercation with a truck driver it doesn't mean ALL truck drivers are shit. It doesn't matter what profession we talk about there are dickheads in every trade but, thankfully, they are usually few in numbers.

 

Something I've done in the past as a publican when I've thrown wankers out of the pub that get punchy, is get their car rego, ring the cops and say your pretty sure this bloke is drunk behind the wheel, cutting traffic off, throwing empty cans out the window etc...then in 20 minutes get a mate ( barmaid etc) to ring cops and make another complaint that this bloke just ran a stop sign and nearly hit a pedestrian etc.....
Generally they go looking for him, pull him over, breath test, go through the whole vehicle for defects etc, and basically give him a real bad day....it's the least you can do...

No mate, not something I'm proud of, it's been done twice, for violent dickheads. Sorry if it came out wrong,I'm not a petty bloke or a vindictive schemer. just saying if these guys want to brag about knocking blokes off bikes there's more than one way to skin a cat.
