Heading of on Sunday for my retirement trip to the states. Flying into Florida and picking up my new Electra Glide and heading out on the road for 5 mths touring .Im staying antill after the 110th in September and doing Sturrgis ,Daytona speed week R 66 and as much else as I can get to see.Im then taking the bike to LA to have it shipped back here.

If you want to follow the trip i have set up a blog which I will post photos and words of wisdom too when Im sober enough.lol I hope you enjoy my trip.

daytona bike week is in March if thats what you mean by daytona speed week, stuff that touring thru their winter for that one , good luck

Speed week is held on the Bonnieville salt flats in utah in August

Nice update on your travels. Like your comments on the Sturgis Rally, I can now understand why 1 rider gets killed each day after seeing it first hand ! Once a year riders.
