I've pretty much been on all the Harley's, being in my mid 30's, maybe not experienced enough to make this statement, but none of them come close the VROD, especially the 2008 model. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It's my VROD that's smokin'!!! Either way i love them all, my mate bought a Sportster yesterday and i love that too. Fact is, you haven't been riding unless it was on a Harley...
G'day m8 & welcome.
Yep the V-ROD is a sweet bike, very cool styling.
So don't tell me, wots the GG for, I know.
" for the kiddies ti ride on " in my best spike voice over
Doesn't matter what you ride, it's all the same wind. I'm going to have to disagree with you about the V-roids, with the exception of the nightrod special, they all looked like a slapped arse to me
Gday M8 and welcome to the forum
I guess because VROD GG thinks so .... met a guy on the flight last Sunday who hails from Adelaide that has just sold his fatty for a Night Rod
btw.... welcome from the best place to be
Not my cup of tea although I would love one as a second bike....make that third i want a shovel next......but the Rods are becoming really popular in the clubs i have noticed....
They still look like shit.
Nah just takin' the piss.
They're not my style but hey, if that's what blows your hair back, go your hardest.
I will give you 50m start over 400m. My VROD will love the challenge, or lackl thereof.
I tried to wheelie one a few times but couldn't get it to play the game. Mind you I was on a test ride with a chaperone so i couldn't make it too obvious. Anyone had any success ? It seemed to go okay provided you had some revs on board. Would eat any other Harley. Certainly in a straight line.
EDIT*** found a half arsed wheelie attempt on a street rod

I've never lifted the front wheel, however, almost between 2nd and 3rd while revving at 7000, with my missus on the back, need more weight on the back to have any chance of getting it up....
