    Hello,

I recently purchased a 2007 Road king classic, it has a S&S muffler large oval system fitted,

recently we removed one of the exhaust pipes and removed the silencer that was installed, we havent had the chance to remove the other side. Anyone know if this is safe to ride .. not many kms under 15-20km total,

about twice the airflow out of the exhaust that we removed the silencer from, not sure if this is relevant.

Just dont want to do any damage thats all,

    thanks

at an uneducated common sense guess Id say it would not be a good thing to ride like that,

You really need both sides to have a similar exhaust flow.

Then you should have her tuned for the increase in Exhaust Flow, saying that you don't want her to loud either, you'll only attract the attention of Mr Plod.

A good idea for a "permanent situation" ! Well no of course.

To ride from A to B as a one off ? No worries at all.

Guys ride home having dropped one whole muffler on a big country run more than occasionally.

( Think 90's Dynas as just one example !)
