you southerners have been hiding .

Licola rd north of Heyfield .  About 50k's of the most interesting and twisted road but in fabulous condition that i have ever ridden on.  Well worth the detour if you are ever in the area.

    cheers

Apart from tassy, Vic has easily the best bike rds and scenery in Aus.

Oh yeah and the worst fucking coppers

Got a 200 klik loop ready to go, 3 pubs, beach and hills, even got a name for it.

And in the same area, Dargo-Bairnsdale Rd, and of course Bairnsdale-Omeo Rd.
A bit harder for the old pigs, but Jamieson-Eildon Rd is also fun.

done the omeo road a few times , and many others as well in Vic

i was just surprised at how good condition this road was given it was a road to nowhere.  in nsw, a road like that would be potholes joined by the odd bit of tar.

flstc, its a great road alright, gets hairy with some of those drop offs too, the caravan park/site & store at the end of it makes for a great over nighter, on the river ...

Hey 48 I am thinking it might be too late in the season, long shadows and slippery corners, thinking late November maybe. If you are interested we can do it first weekend in June 1/6/13, might just have to bring some wet weathers, plenty of swag accom if needed. I was thinking of organising it when there is a band at the Miners Rest, make it a plus weekend!!

Good thing about this loop is it can be shortcut to get home quick at any time if the weather cuts up real bad.
