I have one in matte black 2011 model. no fade, just use the denim polish HD sell. Had some A-Hole pull over to let me pass and the dickhead threw a couple of stones, ended up with a small scratch on the front guard. So I got a tiny brush and some matte black enamel paint and touched up the scratch, if I didn't know where it was you would not pick it. matte paint seems a lot easier to repair any marks than shiny paint ...

I had an 883 painted in that. I love the colour. I did find it was hard work though. I have just sold the bike, and would probably look at gloss from now on. Easier to cut and polish and keep looking new. I got a few scrapes etc from stuff that I wouldnt expect to damage paint. I found it marked pretty easy, and is reasonably high maintanance compared a gloss black with clear coat. Some blokes love it, i like the look, but wouldnt do it again.

    Hey guys,

New to the forum, I have a 2010 Lo in vivid black (gloss)

Very happy, but you always want what you don't have!!

    Here's a couple of pics.

I need to take some better pics, too much sun.

I have owned a Denim black Nightrod and also a Denim Black Ducati Diavel..

I dont know why after the nightrod i went for denim again, but i did.. and i will never do it again! ... it gets alot of marks on it easily such as finger prints etc and you cant just wipe it off easily, it is a good looking finish.. but it tends to easily show little marks etc..

and i would wipe my down with HD denim paint cleaner after every ride and it always looked immaculate, but it is hard work keeping it looking good...
