well, what motivated you/inspired you to start riding in the first place?

for me i suppose it was watching arnold kick arse on his fat boy in terminator 2 (thats why i choose my bike)

and also a collection of movies like easy rider/wild one etc. i also used to love the moto gp when i was younger

what motivated you guys to start riding?

I lived in the country; as a kid riding mini bikes, horses or shooting things with air rifles was pretty much all there was to do on a weekend and bikes don't have a mind of their own!

I wasn't allowed to have a motorbike when I was a kid. Got to 18 and that all changed.

Do we need a reason? Do we have to explain? Its easy. Your either a bike nut or your not. Bike nuts ride bikes, any sort any time. It's in your soul and it's part of your being.
As they say "if i have to explain you wouldn't understand" Just clocked up 32 years of ridin. That's why..............

Heyup scouse. That's what my old man did when he got married to mum. They took off on his sidecar to their honeymoon in Doncaster.

Natural progression from a push bike once licence age and income came about.

I find it hard to conceive that not every young bloke wants a motor cycle....

Dad raced speedway and was told to stop once I was on the way. He had me on a bike when I was 4 and haven't been off them ever since.

Melbournes crap public transport helps me justify riding 160km on a harley every day.

After quitting mining and all the fun toys and risks and going to IT I got bored with the lack of physical reality in life, having a dirt bike as a kid i thought bikes might be fun on the road,

    i was right :)

Well the pushbike was useless on the farm, fcuken prickles.

Rode first dirt bike aged about 10, been riding (racing) ever since.

Christ! I'd never ridden a bike in my life until at age 66 I bought a Sym 150 scooter to save buying a second car. I had no idea it was so much fun. I fell in love with the experience immediately.

Then... I remembered how good all the shiny chrome bits and the 'easy rider' chopper style of Harleys were and that was it.
