Was pulling out of my street onto the Pacific Highway today to go for a ride down to Brooklyn and have a Resch's for the Diggers when a motorcycle  cop (That lives near me) was pulling in to the street at the same time.

He decided to follow me then pulled me over for loud pipes.

Gave me a notice and said that "The Department of Enviroment and Climate Change " would be in touch.

Is that a Gillard Department or what! Anyone heard of them?

Info relating to just how bad they are would be Handy.

    Cheers

Yeah mate, I should of said "Fuck the C..ts" on your post, but I have had 3 other motorcycle Cops behind me before and none of them booked me.
Bike is pretty bloody loud though.

Fair enough Smutley and your not offending.
Been going to get some mufflers from Daddyracer57 and he was gonna get them powder coated for me, but just haven't had the money mate.
I was using the clutch when he was behind me and I'm not a boy Racer, but he lives in my area and it was only time I guess.
I'll just have to borrow the dough to get it done I suppose.

That sucks Wimbo, same thing happened to me and I have only been riding a compartively short while, I had to get the pipes taken off, stock pipes put, over the pit at the RTA, get my noise cert and then change my pipes back over again. Thats pretty much the only way through it and thats why I hang onto my stock pipes so I can change em round when I need too.

But if your caught several times isnt there a thing where they take your bike of you or de-register the bike, not sure but it was something I heard.

Anyway what ever way it goes, if I get caught once I will put the stock pipes back on and they will be staying on, the loud pipes will hang on the wall.

But sometimes people bring it on themselves screwing that throttle right to the stops to be noticed everywhere they ride, it annoys me and I ride a Harley.

There is a guy in the neighborhood who screams around everytime makes the biggest noise and it makes bad for the other guys who try to tone it down. Its going to get tougher.

Had to laugh, Land and Environment & Climate change, sounds like a department they started for the boys.

Since when did loud pipes attribute to Climate Change WTF
