You ride the same way each day? Count the turns...left or right.
Both forks have the same/right fluid in them?

That's the only two other possibilities I can think of.

Couple of mates have the same problem, could it be a twist in the forks?

About to set up a straight line on the shed floor, make sure that rear wheel is adjusted spot on and then check if front wheel is running true. Any other ideas appreciated.

tyre pressure makes a difference too, is it correct?

By uneven do you mean left to right, roads have camber(water run off) so r/h side of tyre will always wear more. Check pressures, wheel bearings. If balance was out you would have a vibration to go with the wear. Post a pic or take it to trusted m/c tyre store and give them a look

Most common problem with tyres wearing unevenly is tyre pressures. If the pressure is to low the leading edge of the tread will scollop out. If the pressure is to high the bike will handle like shit.

Other than what has been mentioned above, except for tyre pressure which you should check a least once a week, there is one other cause that I know of and rarely if ever mentioned.

I had a major head on one day on my way home it was in a right hand bend, I got pretty messed up but ever since  then I have never put the bike over as hard in a right hander as I do in a lefty, it's a mind thing that I can't shake and have given up trying, but suffice to say I always wear the left side of my tyre faster than my right.

    Just a thought.

If your running one bag only on the side, this will give you uneven wear as well.

If a wheel bearing is worn or not shimed correctly the wheel won't run true, can cause tyre wear. Fair Dinkum

whats up your ass!!! I suggested he check pressures and bearings, neither of which are going to take time or cost money. Its an opinion, of which you seem to have many

Motorbike workshop servicing all motorcycles, scooters and track bikes. ... can cause vibrations, damaged wheel bearings, premature and uneven tyre wear and ...
Did go to google to qualify my original suggestion, but did'nt look to far as they ARE all round and black. Took your advice and went back, found the first MOTORCYCLE related article. I suppose you will say that because this is not in reference to the particular bike mentioned in the post it is bullshit too. Have wasted enought time on you, you're an idiot.

The wear will generally be road camber if its on the right side and you will get vibration because of the tyre wear as well.  If its left side wear check the alignment or the side of the road your riding on.. lol

Alot of people will lay the bike around corners lower on the left than the right because of the pipes as well.

Most definately try the string line. I measured up the axle to swingarm with a vernier and got it to 0.5 or less. but was still fucked. String line cured the odd tyre wear. I think my frame was a Monday frame as the measurements are way different after string. No it was never pranged or dropped.
