doubt you would have put it together a tooth out
maybe the cam chain was slack enough to make a small difference. aren't you using 4 deg gears?

I bet hilly waved a sacrificed chicken over the bike a few times.

I trid to cross referance the stock INA bearing and came up empty handed. It would be interesting to get the numbers of the baker bearing to see who makes them and see if there available in a timkem or FAG

Got two SE adjusters on da bench Hilly.
Have heard if new primary chain fitted at same time and some mild dressing on leading edge of shoe they quieter down considerably. As usual work required before it all works as it should.
