....but until this month, I never felt that I would own a Harley. There was a variety of reasons then, but now there seems to be none.

I will give it a go, with a Dyna Switchback, and see how it goes. I'm thinking that I have held back 'cos I might just enjoy it immensely...sort of why I stay away from golf!

I hope this forum will be a source of assistance and knowledge.....I have no doubt that it will be!

There will be more input once I get out there and enjoy the rides. Cheers, Bb

Mate..the only reason most play golf is to get away from missus. With a Harley, you can still do it but have lots more fun. Welcome to the Forum.

Cheers and thanks for the welcome.

I intend to thin out my 'stable' over the next few months. I have a Hayabusa, a big v-twin moto, a scooter and now a HD now. ooops and a Brit 650 that I'm playing with.

I like buying toys but have trouble selling them. Is this a weakness or a strength? I'm confused.

Anyway, I enjoy riding all year round so I'll never get bored.

Alright!!! It's done and dusted. I now own a Black Switchback and can't wait to seriously try it out on the highway.

I'm looking forward to meeting some WA members and going on a few rides, before we get deep into winter. Photos soon, Cheers, Bb

    Thanks for the welcome.

I am in pain. Pain like you'd probably never ever feel. You'd never be so stupid to feel as I do.

And the reason? I saw the bike one day, decided that night that I was getting it, then flew up north to work for 2 weeks initially but now extended to three! Meanwhile, bike delived and sitting in the garage. Ooooooooooooooo the pain I feel just typing this!

Could any of you have done something this fugn stupid? I only have a couple of photos to look at...... sounds of similar bikes via Youtube.......a memory of that short test ride...it really hurts.

I'm searching for positives.  Mmmmm that next ride will be sweeter than sweet?? The mileage is staying low.......tyres lasting a few weeks longer.... CRIKEY.

....four days until I get home!!! I will never do something like this again. The wait is physically painful! Mentally torturous.

I don't want to sound pessimistic...but if it is pissing down on Thur, I'll fugn scream!
