man this is the second time in two years that my sliders have had the paint fall off .  the second time just 1 mth out of warranty. really getting fucked off with this bike . so much cash out laid for this to keep happening . if this has happened to your dyna . leave a post

Is the bike on a trickle charger ?

no trickle charger it is riden as daily transport. it is a 2011 they were changed under warranty in oct 2012 . as a mechanic , I suspect it has something to do with a metal fork seal cover on a aluminium slider causing electrolysis and the paint falls off . I am wondering if the last repairers just resprayed them instead of replacing the sliders , I don't know

saw sun city Harley yesterday and they said they will honour the repairs . how good is that !

ask how often this is happening and what is the cause so you might avoid it in the future

well talking at a club house up here , this seems to be a issue with about 3 bikes having this happen ! . will keep you posted
