Gudday fellas, This has probably been flogged to death somewhere before(new here so greetings as well). What I'm curious about is anyone running them on their fatbob and how are they performing in comparison to say the Metezler 880's that I'm  currently running. any info would be appreciated.

    Cheers Harry

ive got them on my fatbob 08 103ci stg iv kitted and they giv so much more grip when fanging in twisties very positive in cornering i push hard when blasting threw ranges ,as much as possibley allowed by bike itself you can really hang off bike with confidence if your that sorta rider not many guys will ride this way ,also when launcing from stop say lites im in the habit now slippin da clutch with a good dose of throttle an can hover front wheel quite a ways ,if i jus dump clutch well she jus spins a lot no tyre will stop that with power i have now, normally it starts spinnin on hard launch with  clutch fully out so i pull  in after a bit of spinnin an let out again with another dose of throttle tyre stiks a bit more as is hot an stiky needless 2 say im not worried about how many ks of tyre life ,but i will recomend these hoops as excellent ,the bike handles so much better tyres have transformed a great bike 2 an even better bike tyre life 4 me few thousand ks as they r a lot softer but if u wana ride hard an hav a tyre 2 match well these r good ,cant giv opinion on metz 880's was lookin 2 put on mine but tyre man said pireli better by far 4 my aggresive style will grip better under pushed rideing and he is rite SHINGLES

Sounnds like I might pull the trigger on a set shinges. I've got a similar problem to yourself, I've also got a stageIV 103" kit in mine. They're good fun eh. Gonna give it a birthday in the next few months, Shocks, tyres, lick of paint, bit of polish and a few other tasties. The kit in mines got 23k on it now and still goes well, Bought a new pipe for it and that turned up this morning.

What you've said there confirms exactly what the tyre guy was telling me today.

    Cheers Harry.

Don't have a Fat Bob but on my Super Glide I have tried Metzelers, Dunlops and now the Pirelli Night Dragons. No issues with grip on any of them but I do feel the Pirelli's turn in better as in a lot sharper when turning into a corner.

Cheers Deadwood, Pretty much everthing I can find on them is a positive, Except maybe for mileage. I don't mind buying good tyres more often though.

I don't find anything wrong with the Metezlers on it now Just gonna change to see I think.

Try Peter Stevens in Ringwood, they'll put you through to the tyre guy next door. Got mine fitted for about that price by memory.

Cool I'll give them a buzz tomorrow. Did you take the bike in or just the wheels only.

Took the bike in. Took them about an hour which is enough time to browse the Ducati dealership and Harley. Are you a HOG member?
