You know I the idear behind building a custom Bike is making it Custom, It's about taking a Part and changing it. Thats the part that I enjoy the most about doing a Bike, It's Chopiping up New or Second hand stuff and making it diffrent to create a bit of WOW
.Todays Wow is the Rear Fender. I started with a Rear Hinged Pan Fender, Look great on a Pan Head and needs a little work for my Bike
. It was a little to wide as well, So I cut 3/4" out of the centre. I also trimed the Right Hand Side to to match the Chain cut out on the Left Hand Side
Hi Walka, I'm following both Yours, and Bricks builds with a lot of interest. Loving the look of both so far, and it's a great way for some of us to learn. Keep up the great work guys. Looking forward to seeing more progress in the future.
Been messing around with the Tanks, I gave the 5 Gal the flick and grabed a new pair of 3 Gal Shovel Tanks and made my self a jig saw puzzle
Fender Struts done and mounted, Brakes done
Thanks , they will be off to the Chrome Platers in a few weeks The brushed finish just dosn't do it for me
Nice section job on the tanks, you been taking tips from old school custom boys?
Looks awsome
Almost finished the fab work
Been messing around with working out what Oil Tank I was going to use,
I love the look of a Rocker Oil Tank, but there to wide and once you cut them down and reweld the back togerther there is not much room for a Battery. So I whent with a Kraft Tech Horse Shoe and got some mates of mine Johnny Lang and Razz from JL Race Cars to make up a cover to weld on to the front of the Tank to give it that Rocker look.and match up to the Rear Wheel Covers.
