Softail Rear wheel

    Hi I am sure that this would have been asked time and time again but here gos again..

    I have a 2013 softail with the factory 200 rear , I am looking to change the rear wheel and tyre I dont know what size wheel and tyre to go with..

    Any one know what the sizes that fit in the stock gaurd and swing arm?

    lol do u mean wider then stock size?

    I think the standard one is 17" x 6" ... that what my 2008 FXSTC is and I am changing mine to a 18" x 5.5" which I have been told will take a 200 tyre no worries ... I`m going with a Fat Spoke wheel from Walka from VPW who are a sponsor on this site ... as soon as he gets some in stock .

    There are heaps of options especially if you go mag / billet wheels ... but bloody expensive .

     I went with an 18 rear and a 19 inch front.  All fit under the guards no worries.  200 is the widerst you can go without trouble on the rear.
