Just want to know if anyone has any ideas where I can get an adapter plate to use regular bars on my spspringer

 

The bikes in pieces & just wanna get it sorted

Can't tell you where, specifically, so you'll have to google, but just in case you don't know, you have at least a couple of options.

You can get an aftermarket upper triple clamp that has the necessary holes to fit standard bars, or chubby make a set of pull backs to fit the OEM riser studs - http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/wild1-chubby-springer-pullback-drag-bar-harley-davidson-softail-springer-models/part/WILD1-WO565

I'm thinking the US is the only place you'll find any of this stuff.

Well done, not many in this country, I'd guess.

I've looked at the options 'cos I have drag bars on my springer and on full right lock the accelerator cables hit the tank. I've looked at risers, the chubby bars, and as you did, changing the upper clamp 'cos the options really open up when you talk standard bars and risers.

I wasn't keen on the triple clamp way, didn't really like the look of them, but I could only get a vague idea how they looked from the few pics online, and those were not fitted.

What do you think of them, do you have any shots of them on the bike?
