FAQA set up errors TTS Mastertune
Q,Mastertune will read ECM info but will not upload or program the ECM.What is the problem.
A,The most common cause is an incompatible usb serial adaptor.Try a different adaptor or use the one from tts
I am using tts adaptor pulled them apart blow them out no good.cannot load any new cals to ecm tried a few things no good.
has anyone a trouble like this anyone seen steve cole?HELP
Yes, I hadn't used tts for about 9 months after downloading base cal then decided to pull me finger out and do a vtune there was a massive update to download did that.then had some trouble with com port got that sorted.all im trying to do is load a cal ive made adjustments to so I can start vtune.looks like I might have to buy a new cable but don't understand why I can get ecm info so cable is working to talk to ecm but can't load maps? doesn't make sence.I would hate to buy a new cable and have same problem.any help would be appreciated.thanks
Yes have fitted speedo tach why is that an issue?
Yep, new speedo can be a problem. Have a look at this link, the first problem (page 3) describes the error from a changed speedo and what to do to fix. Pretty simple to do. http://www.mastertune.net/downloads/Delphi/Manuals/MasterTune_Technical_Bulletins.pdf
Thanks boys I'll give that a try today.I've made up few new swear words working on this lol.
Completed my first vtune on weekend,It went or right only have one 80km zone so had laptop mounted on the back doing 110km up n down foreshore drive botany early morning run tried to ease up through the rev range bit harder then it sounds.Arrived home had plenty white pink cell but hadn't collected enough data above 3000rpm all sweet under that.Went for another run and the cable fucked up wasn't talking to the interface I had it taped up but it froze half way through warm up Id had enough by then.till next time.
A remote monitor fitted to handlebars makes the vtune a lot easier.
An ipad, iphone or android with a wifi connection allows you to see where the cells are being filled.
I made up a bracket and used a remote monitor but it is really hard to see in the sunlight, any ideas????
I used an anti-glare screen protector and angled the monitor so its looking straight back at me.
Only have a problem occasionally with the sun directly behind.
